Legal Basis for IKEA FOOD Magazine Promotion
1. PROMOTION SPONSOR: SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S ("IKEA") (hereinafter referred to as "The Organizers") will be conducting a survey among its readers that rewards their participation with the celebration of three promotions, which will be governed by the rules established in this document (hereinafter referred to as "The Promotion Rules").

3. DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE: This Promotion will be valid in the Dominican Republic at IKEA Santo Domingo Store, IKEA Bávaro Store, and IKEA Santiago Store. Participation is open from 04/01/2024 until 06/17/2024 inclusive. The promotion will take place on 06/19/2024 and we will contact the winners by phone and/or email.
The voucher will be valid until 07/08/2024 for use at the Swedish Store of IKEA Santo Domingo.
4. PROMOTION MECHANICS:
- COMMUNICATION: The dynamics of the action will be communicated in the IKEA FOOD Magazine, valid from 04/01/2024 to 06/30/2024. The launch of said magazine, and the promotion included therein, will be communicated through various online channels, as well as on social networks and/or the website.
- PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION: To enter the promotion, participants must complete the form on the website www.ikea.com.do, which they can access through the URL or by scanning the QR code accompanying the communication in the magazine, both in print and digital versions.
Once the winners are randomly selected, they will be contacted via telephone and/or email.
5. PRIZE:
A complimentary coffee will be given for participating in the promotion to all individuals who have completed the form and shown the verification email that they have successfully filled out the form. Redeemable at the Swedish Bistro of IKEA Bayamón Store or at the Swedish Cafés of IKEA Santiago and IKEA Bávaro until 06/17/2024.
1 IKEA shopping voucher worth RD$3,000 for 3 winning individuals. In the event of being unable to contact the winners within 48 hours, substitutes will be contacted. The voucher will be valid until 07/08/2024, for use on food products at the Swedish Store of IKEA Santo Domingo.
8. GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Promotions may be subject to special conditions such as minimum purchases or purchase of specific items. These conditions will be reflected in the promotion and in the specific promotion rules.
7. PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by participants to participate in this promotion will be incorporated into a data file, owned by SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S, domiciled at Av. John F. Kennedy corner Bienvenido García Gautier Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional El Pino CP 10508.
7.1 USE OF WINNERS' NAMES AND IMAGES: In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 172-13, participants in promotions automatically consent to the use and processing of the provided data, for the purpose of participating in the promotion, and also for the research, promotion, and marketing of the products and services of THE ORGANIZERS. Likewise, the personal information requested for the purposes of this promotion will not be disclosed to any other organization except with the express consent of the contestant. Participants, in the event of being winners, automatically consent by participating in this promotion to the use, publication, and reproduction worldwide and without limitation, by THE ORGANIZERS, of their image and name in any type of advertising, promotion, publication, including the Internet, for commercial or informational purposes as long as they are related solely to this promotion, without THE ORGANIZERS having to pay any economic compensation to the winning participant for this fact, these publications will be made within the time frame of six (6) months, starting from the end of the promotion. If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, they may send an email to lopd@ikeasi.com rejecting their consent.
7.2 Check the privacy policy and data protection at www.ikea.com.do / https://www.ikea.com.do/es/legal/proteccion-de-datos where you can exercise your Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition.
8. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: Mere participation in the promotion implies acceptance of these rules and also consent under the ORGANIC LAW ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION No. 172-13 by the participants that the registered data may be used by SARTON DOMINICANA S.A.S to communicate other campaigns or promotions. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be referred to common law. The rules will be available during the period in which the promotion is valid at the IKEA Dominican Republic store and on the website.
9. GENERAL: Any attempt at betting, or other similar methods are prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar registrations will be allowed. THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify or exclude from the promotion those participants who, directly or indirectly, have altered, breached, or violated the rules established in these Promotion Rules.
10. APPLICABLE LAW: This promotion is governed by the current legislation in the Dominican Republic and by these rules.
