The duration of the guarantee depends on the conditions stipulated for each product and it's valid as of the date of purchase. The products that are not covered by these guarantees will be subject to a standard guarantee of 90 days, with the general conditions established in the guarantee policy.
IKEA will examine the product to decide if it is covered by the guarantee. If so, IKEA will decide whether to repair the defective product or replace it with an identical product or one with similar characteristics. In these cases, IKEA will be responsible for the expenses of repair, additional parts, labour and commute of IKEA personnel incurred by it, if the product is repairable without IKEA have to incur extraordinary costs to access it. This does not apply in cases where the repair has not been authorised by IKEA. Any defective piece removed during the repair will become property of IKEA in the event that the customer is not interested in it. In the event that the item is no longer sold by IKEA or it has been discontinued, IKEA will provide a replacement of equal value or characteristics. The products subject to guarantee will have a maximum of 4 redemptions thereof. Once the established redemptions have been exceeded, IKEA will offer a non-refundable credit note for the original value paid, deducting the ITBIS. In virtue of the provisions of Articles 63 paragraph and 70 of Law No.358-05 if it was proven that the product has been sold defective, it will be at the consumer's option to replace it, lower the price or refund the money.

If any repair service is performed during the guarantee period, the warranty time of the appliance or the new components will not be extended.
The one (1) year guarantee is valid for all IKEA kitchen appliances and covers defects in materials and workmanship.
Who will perform the service? The guarantee is covered by Sarton Dominicana SAS, who will provide the service according to its operation or a network of subcontracted services.
This 10-year guarantee is only applied to domestic use and covers defects in the materials and the manufacture off all taps. Our kitchen taps are tested to international standards and we only use very good quality components to ensure the 10 year guarantee.

The mattress cannot show sign of dirt, stains or mistreatment, must be protected with a mattress protector to avoid their deterioration or the signs indicated above. In any case, technical service will verify the conditions, diagnosing the condition in each case.
This guarantee does not apply to mattresses, or children's mattresses, in these cases a standard 90-day guarantee applies from the date of delivery.
