PROMOTION SPONSOR: SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S. (“IKEA”) (hereinafter referred to as “The Organizers”) will conduct the promotion to be called “BLUE MONDAY, 10% Gift Certificate on your online purchases” (hereinafter referred to as “the Promotion”), which will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth herein (hereinafter referred to as “The Promotion Terms and Conditions”).

DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE OF THE PROMOTION: This Online Promotion will be valid in the Dominican Republic from 00:00 a.m. on January 20 until 9:00 a.m. on January 21, 2025 on the portal www.IKEA.com.do and on the IKEA Inspire APP (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotion Period”).

PARTICIPANTS: All individuals over 18 years of age who make and pay for the online purchase during the promotion period (excluding transport and assembly services) valid on the website www.IKEA.com.do and APP IKEA INSPIRE, within the promotion period.

PROMOTION DYNAMICS: Valid only online/web. All customers who purchase ONLINE from RD$4,000, excluding transportation and assembly services and items in the area of opportunities will receive 10% of the value of your invoice (in a purchase check to be used in IKEA), this check to be delivered after the customer makes the corresponding payment. The customer will receive their purchase check in an email sent to the email address registered when making the online purchase on the web channels: www.IKEA.com.do and APP IKEA INSPIRE. The check can be redeemed between January 22nd and February 2nd inclusive.

THE ORGANIZERS may cancel the promotion, modify the dates, terms and conditions of these promotion rules, as well as the prizes presented, at any time for justified cause. In case of cancellation or changes in the promotion, it will be notified on our website www.IKEA.com.do, on social networks or at the IKEA Santo Domingo store.

AWARD: One (1) purchase check for ten (10%) percent of the purchase amount as detailed in “5. Promotion Dynamics” (excludes shipping and assembly services and opportunity area items). Upon making the online purchase on the website www.IKEA.com.do or the IKEA INSPIRE APP, the customer will receive his or her purchase check in an email sent to the address registered at the time of purchase. The check can be redeemed from January 22 to February 2, 2025.

7.1 In order to guarantee the legitimacy of the winner, we may request additional documents. The client exempts THE ORGANIZERS from any liability as a result of the acceptance or use of the purchase check.

7.2 Upon return of any of the items purchased in this promotion, the credit note shall not include the percentage (10%) of the value of the returned item, as specified in “point 5” of these rules.

7.3 The promotion will be applicable to purchases made in exclusive WEB www.IKEA.com.do or IKEA INSPIRE Promotions with no minimum purchase. All taxes, fees or expenses incurred by the winner to receive or claim the prize and any other expenses, not specified, are the sole responsibility of the customer.

7.4 Online purchase check promotions will generate a purchase check for a maximum amount of RD$30,000.

PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by customers to participate in this Promotion will be included in the data file, property of SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S, domiciled at Av. John F. Kennedy esq. Bienvenido García Gautier Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional El Pino CP 10508.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: The mere participation in the promotion, implies the acceptance of the present bases and also the consent under the ORGANIC LAW ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION No. 172-13 by the participants that the registered data, may be used by SARTON DOMINICANA S.A.S to communicate other campaigns, or promotions. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be referred to the common law. The bases will be available during the period in which the promotion is in force in the web www.IKEA.com.do.

USE OF WINNERS' NAMES AND IMAGE: Pursuant to the provisions of the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 172-13, participants in the promotions automatically consent to the use and processing of the data provided, for the purpose of participating in the promotion, and also for research, promotion and marketing of the products and services of THE ORGANIZERS. Likewise, the personal information requested for the purposes of this promotion will not be disclosed to any other organization except with the express consent of the contestant. Participants, in the event of being winners, automatically consent to the use, publication and reproduction worldwide and without limitation, by THE ORGANIZERS, of their image and name in any type of advertising, promotion, publication, including Internet, for commercial or informational purposes provided that these are related solely to this promotion, without THE ORGANIZERS having to pay any financial compensation to the winning participant for this fact, these publications will be made within a period of six (6) months from the end of the promotion. If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, he/she may send an email to lopd@ikea.com.do rejecting his/her consent. GENERAL:  Any attempt at wagering, or other similar methods are prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar entries will be permitted. THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify or exclude from the promotion those participants who, directly or indirectly, have altered, breached or violated the rules set forth in these Promotion Rules.

APPLICABLE LEGISLATION: This promotion is governed by the legislation in force in the Dominican Republic and by these rules.
