How to clean and when to re stain outdoor furniture
All our wooden outdoor furniture is pre-treated, but acacia, eucalyptus and other solid woods require a little care from time to time to prevent cracking and extend their lifetime. Clean wooden furniture with a mild soapy solution and cover it when not in use. We recommend re-staining with colourless TRIXIG outdoor wood stain when raindrops are absorbed instead of forming beads on the surface.

Easy care furniture materials
Aluminium, plastic, plastic rattan and steel are maintenance-free outdoor furniture materials. Just make sure to keep the pieces clean with a mild soapy solution. Cover or store them away at the end of the season in a cool, dry place like a garage, carport or basement especially plastic and plastic rattan pieces that can crack in freezing temperatures.

Care for parasols
Maintain its sun, worthy shine and give your parasol a thorough cleaning once a year. Simply fold it and remove the fabric from the frame and machine wash it. Follow the wash label. We also recommend that you fold the parasol when not in use. You can also keep your parasol looking great by using a TOSTERÖ cover to shield it from dirt, dust, pollen and rain. Just make sure it’s dry before covering, and store it in a cool and dry place indoors. When you take care of your parasol, it keeps you comfy in the sun and spruces up your garden.
Care for cushions and pads
To extend the life of your outdoor cushions and pads, clean them regularly. Store away when not in use, preferably in a cool, dry place indoors. A TOSTERÖ storage bag or box will help keep them in shape. Ensure the cushions are completely dry before closing the bag or box.
