Hide cables for lamps and chargers by feeding them through the holes at the top of the headboard.
You don’t need a bedside table when you have storage in the headboard. This saves space and makes it easier to access boxes or drawers under the bed; and it’s easier to vacuum too.
One of the shelves can be adjusted to 3 different positions.

We made the bed frame with generous drawers and the headboard with room for books, magazine files and holes for cables.
