The ÄLGANÄS series has a slim and airy design with bold and playful shapes – and smart and simple functions.

The shoe shelves can be positioned horizontally or diagonally, and by tilting them you can store larger size shoes in less space.
When diagonal, the shelf should be positioned with the small edge facing up to keep the shoes in place. When horizontal, the shelf can be positioned either way depending on your preference.
Made of powder-coated metal which is easy to clean and is a durable material suitable for storing outdoor clothes and shoes.
The black powder coating has a soft sheen to highlight the bold and playful lines.

With an Allen key, you can quickly adjust the bolts to position the shelves horizontally or vertically.
Holds approximately 12 pairs of shoes on the shelves.
Can be used in areas with high humidity such as bathrooms and balconies, but should not be directly exposed to water from, for example, a shower or rain.

"The main goal when I developed the ÄLGANÄS series was, of course, to find smart solutions that help you organize everything in the hallway – which is often a small, narrow or oddly planned space. But I also wanted the design to feel typical of IKEA with simple yet playful shapes – and at a good price. The result is airy and easy-to-place pieces of furniture that cater for everyday storage needs and suit everyone who is young at heart.”
