1. RESPONSIBLE PARTIES OF THE ACTIVITY: SARTONDOMINICANA, S.A.S (“IKEA”) (hereinafter referred to as “The Organizers”) will carry out the activity called “Let’s Find the Easter Eggs” (hereinafter referred to as “the activity”), which will be governed by the rules established in this document (hereinafter referred to as “The Activity Rules”).

3. DURATION AND TERRITORIAL SCOPE OF THE ACTIVITY: This Activity will be valid in the Dominican Republic on April 28, 2025. Specifically at: IKEA Santo Domingo (John F. Kennedy corner Bienvenido García Gautier, El Pino, Santo Domingo, D.N., C.P. 10508.), IKEA Santiago (Av. 27 de Febrero, Santiago de los Caballeros 51000) and IKEA Bávaro (San Juan Shopping Center, Av. Barceló km. 9, Punta Cana 23000) on April 28, 2026.
4. PARTICIPANTS: Minors between 5 and 12 years old who have registered for the event on the scheduled dates under the supervision of their parent or legal guardian.
5. ACTIVITY DYNAMICS AND PARTICIPANTS: PURCHASE OF FLOWER POT SHOWN IN THE ARTWORK.
- Arrival of the children: Registered children will arrive at the selected store at the time indicated during registration. A staff member will confirm their arrival.
- Registration and badge distribution: At registration, they will be assigned a badge for identification and must have a basket on hand. This basket will be used later to collect Easter eggs.
- Store tour: Children will take a regular tour through the store. At 5 specific points, identified with event signage and staff, they will receive Easter eggs with chocolates in their basket.
- Activities in the Swedish store: After the tour, children will go to the IKEA restaurant (Santo Domingo) or IKEA Swedish café (Santiago and Bávaro). Here they can complete drawings, have their faces painted, and enjoy tastings of IKEA Easter sweets.
- Toast and final activities: A toast with food and beverages will take place to conclude the activity. Children will enjoy a moment of gathering and Easter celebration.
- Conclusion: Once the toast and activities are finished, the event will be considered concluded.
6. PRIZE: DOES NOT APPLY.
7. GENERAL AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The Easter eggs that will be collected include sweets, candies, chocolates, among others, which may contain allergens, gluten, or other sensitive ingredients that could trigger adverse reactions in sensitive individuals or those with known food allergies. Therefore, by participating in the event or activity, parents or legal guardians assume full responsibility for the minor and:
- Parents or legal guardians agree to actively supervise and monitor the foods their children consume during and outside the event.
- If your child has any food allergy or dietary restriction, it is the responsibility of the parents or legal guardians to take the necessary measures to avoid any risk to the child’s health or mitigate the risk 100%, prioritizing the child’s health and safety at all times.
- Precautions and Actions in Case of Emergency: In case of a health-related emergency, parents or legal guardians agree to act quickly and appropriately, following the protocols established by their primary physician and the recommendations of the organizer and the duty manager available at the event.
- By agreeing to participate in the event "Let’s Find the Easter Eggs", parents or legal guardians acknowledge and accept the responsibility described above, thus ensuring a safe and suitable environment for all participants.
8. PERSONAL DATA: The personal data provided by participants to take part in this promotion will be incorporated into a data file owned by SARTON DOMINICANA, S.A.S, located at Av. John F. Kennedy esq. Bienvenido García Gautier Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional El Pino CP 10508. Consult the privacy and data protection policy at www.ikea.com.do where you may exercise your Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition.
9. USE OF NAME AND IMAGE: In accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law on Personal Data Protection No. 172-13, participants in the promotions automatically consent to the use and processing of the data provided for the purpose of participating in the promotion, as well as for the research, promotion, and commercialization of the products and services of THE ORGANIZERS. Likewise, the personal information requested for the purposes of this activity will not be disclosed to any other organization without the express consent of the participant. Participants, in the event of being winners, automatically consent by participating in this promotion to the use, publication, and reproduction worldwide and without limitation by THE ORGANIZERS of their image and name in any type of advertising, promotion, or publication, including the Internet, for commercial or informational purposes, provided that these are solely related to this promotion, without THE ORGANIZERS having to pay any financial compensation to the participant for this fact. These publications will be carried out within a period of six (6) months from the end of the promotion. If the winning participant is not interested in participating in these publications, they may send an email to relaciones.publicas@ikea.com.do withdrawing their consent.
10. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES: Participation in the event implies acceptance of these rules and consent, under the ORGANIC LAW ON PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION No. 172-13, by participants that the registered data may be used by SARTON DOMINICANA S.A.S to communicate other campaigns or promotions. In case of doubts or discrepancies in the interpretation of these rules, they will be subject to common law. The rules will be available during the period in which the promotion is valid in IKEA Dominican Republic stores and on the website.
11. GENERAL: Any attempt at betting or similar methods is prohibited. No automatic, programmed, robotic, or similar entries will be allowed. THE ORGANIZERS may disqualify or exclude from the activity those participants who, directly or indirectly, have altered, failed to comply with, or violated the rules established in these terms.
12. APPLICABLE LAW: This activity is governed by the laws in force in the Dominican Republic and by these rules.
